About Implant-Supported Denture
An implant supported denture is a type of overdenture that is supported by and attached to implants. This type of denture has special attachments that snap onto connectors permanently fitted to your implants. Mostly used to improve stability on lower dentures. Usually an upper denture is quite stable without implants, however, you can get an implant-supported denture in either upper or lower jaw.
The stability provided by this type of denture will allow you to chew, laugh, and smile with confidence. Patients will have to undergo a screening process for suitability for implants.
